Top 5 Hand Creams

It's December, you know what that means...dry hands and cuticles. Here are my top choices that are non greasy and really do work. Some people are more sensitive to smell than others so here are a couple choices:

Glysomed Hand Cream: This product is No. 1 best seller is US, Canada and Germany. Moisturizes really well and goes on smoothly. It also comes in a fragrance-free version.

Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector: the Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector is the brand's best-selling hand product.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Fast-Absorbing Hand Cream : Fast-Absorbing hand cream. The perfect handbag size too.

Kiehl's Unusually Rich — But Not Greasy At All Hand Cream with SPF 10:
it's not too thick and not too runny. It's also not greasy whatsoever.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream: A super-rich hand cream, this shea butter lotion rubs easily into skin and absorbs quickly to leave hands silky smooth.

I've been inspired by fabulous vintage finds..not just with jewelery but furniture too! Check out this Instyle article on "Best Vintage Finds". Nicky Hilton's Chanel Tray shown in the pic is my fave! So nice! The easiest way to decorate your place is choosing one or two items you love and work with those colors. Nicky Hilton's fab. find inspired her whole look for her living room...all black and white.

Cute Gift Ideas.

I spent 5mins on www.UrbanOutfitters.com and found 20things on my wish list. They have cute stocking stuffers and gift ideas for the holidays.

Gonna be broke this Holiday with all the online shopping =)

Best for all skin types!

Regardless if you have dry, oily or regular skin type...Aveda's Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion is great for all!
I've been using it for over a month now and let me tell you it's fast absorbing, light and protects your skin from dehydration. It's no wonder why it's Aveda's Best Seller. Of course there's other great products for your face, you can spend $200 on La Mer ( I find it too thick and creamy).

Here's more info:
"Nurturing your skin comes naturally with this quick-absorbing lotion—containing emollients derived from coconut, jojoba and other naturally-derived ingredients—that replenishes moisture with a gentle touch. Camomile and lavender blend helps promote a soft, supple skin texture."

The things you can do with Veggie Oil!

Vegetable Oil can come in handy for various things and is not only great for cooking:

Shine your leather boots
Sometimes I can't find my boot cleaner so I grab the vegetable oil...it works the same! It even removes the salt stains. I kid you not!

Stainless Steel Cleaner
I hate finger prints on stainless steel, so take a small dab of vegetable oil on a cloth and rub it over the fridge and stove for a clean look.

Remove labels and stickers
For plastic and glass -- removing the old labels always leaves a stubborn sticky residue. Soak the label with vegetable oil and the label will slide right off.

Separate stuck glasses
When stacked drinking glasses get stuck together, it seems like nothing you can do will separate them. Just pour a little vegetable oil around the rim of the bottom glass and the glasses will pull apart with ease.

Cast-iron cookware
After washing and thoroughly drying a cast-iron skillet or wok, use a paper towel to wipe it down with vegetable oil. Just leave a very thin layer of oil. It will prevent the pan from rusting.

For the past 2 months I've been using HD Invisible Cover Foundation by Make Up Forever and I love it! It's not heavy and it gives perfect coverage. Before that I used Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer, but I have to say HD does a better job.

I have very sensitive skin, so I was very surprised to see that it didn't effect my skin at all.

Get it at Sephora. If you spend more than $25 online at Sephora you also get a cute clutch filled with samples! Enter code: CLUTCH4U

Here's the list of ingredients:
Store bought box cake mix (Devil's Food Cake Mix)

•1 cup sour cream
•1 box instant pudding

Follow the instructions for the cake mix and add in your sour cream and pudding...blend, bake...and TA DA!

Gloss me!

Ok ladies, lets be honest who doesnt have a million lip balms or glosses hanging around? I go through so many that I find my glosses in random purses, in my car, bathroom...etc. I am always searching for the lip gloss that doesn't dry out my lips.
The search is over Chanel Glossimer lip gloss ROCKS! Not too sicky, but deliver's high shine! I admit the price is more than the average glosses out there but it's so worth it!
